Wynelle Clower, 98, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 2 P.M., CDT, in the Arlington Oakgrove Cemetery in Arlington, Georgia with Rev. Billy Michael Bevan officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 P.M. until service time at the cemetery.
Born December 24, 1927, in Damascus, Georgia, Mrs. Clower was the daughter of the late James Buchannan and Pearl Jones Harris. Mrs. Clower was a church and community leader. She served as organist and pianist at church. She was an excellent records keeper. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was an avid gardener and card sender. She also loved fishing. Mrs. Clower was preceded in death by her husband James Wright Clower, her granddaughter Kimberly Mischa Bevan, her siblings Tolly Harris, Arizona Craft and Essie Lou Clower and her son-in-law Billy Bevan.
Survivors include her daughter: Gloria Bevan; her son: Barry Clower; her grandchildren: Billy Bevan and Karla (Chad) Fancher; her great grandchildren: Meredith Druey, Kara Druey and Micah Druey.
