William Milton "Billy" Brabham, 90, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at his residence.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2 P.M., at Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joel Miller officiated with Chapman Funeral Home directing.
Born October 20, 1933 in Comer, Alabama, Mr. Brabham was the son of the late Milton Herbert and Sara Carnes Brabham. Mr. Brabham was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Eufaula where he was active with the youth. He served on the Board of Directors of Midsouth Bank for over forty years. Beginning in the pulp wood business in 1955, he opened Brabham Lumber Company in 1959 until 1997. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katharine "Kaki" Kirkland Brabham.
Survivors include his daughter: Kaki Fielder; son-in-law: Mark Fielder; his granddaughter: Katie Fielder; his nephews: Don Dixon, Lawson Kirkland and Allen Kirkland; his niece: Debbie (Lyn) Anglin; his great nephews: Mason Dixon, Tripp Dixon and Chase Dixon; his great nieces: Andrea Newton, Amanda Lowe, Amy Lowe, Amelia Dixon and Parker Dixon.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Dixon, Lawson Kirkland, Allen Kirkland, Grady Hartzog, Tripp Dixon, Mason Dixon, Chase Dixon, Mark Fielder, Earl White and Jerry Gulledge.
