William Nelson Andert, 79, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his residence..

Born May 1, 1945, in Washington D.C., Mr. Andert was the son of the late Velma Nelson and William Harold Andert. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Andert; his children Jessica Andert, Michelle (Jessie) Holmes, and Amanda Andert; grandchildren Zack Holmes, Jake Holmes, Summer Lee, and Riley Andert; one sister Deborah Blount, nephew Ken (Lisa) Benzel.
