Wayne Palmer

Mr. Wayne Palmer, 87, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Monday, September 2, 2024, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 3 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken Bush officiating.  Burial will follow in the White Oak United Methodist Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Palmer was born August 1, 1937 in Henry County, Alabama.  He retired from the Army National Guard as a Sergeant First Class  after 27 years of service.  He was a self employed tile setter and rock mason for over 53 years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eufaula and he loved gardening.  He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Palmer and his son Roderick Lane "Roddy" Palmer.

Survivors include his son: Eddie Palmer; 4 grandchildren: Brittany (Jacquelyn) Laster, Harley (Christine) Palmer, Katelyn Palmer Griffin, Hailey Lane Palmer.
