Timothy Scott Retherford

Timothy Scott Retherford, 69, of Comer, Alabama, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Ft. Gaines Health and Rehab in Ft. Gaines, Georgia.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6 P.M., in Old Springhill Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Doss officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service from 5 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to CMT Research Foundation.

Born March 14, 1956 in Florence, Alabama, Mr. Retherford was the son of the late Coy and Geraldine Scott Retherford.  Survivors include his wife of 53 years: Hilda Retherford; his son: Scott Retherford (Chrisi Clark Charpie); 1 grandson: William Retherford; 1 brother: Butch Retherford; 1 sister: Jennie (Will) Vanderzalm.
