Thomas Anthony Toma

Thomas Toma, beloved husband and brother, was called home to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

            Thomas loved the Lord and faithfully cared for his wife and family.  He enjoyed fishing Lake Eufaula in his beloved Boston Whaler, working in his yard, grilling and spending time with dog Koco.  He was a passionate, life-long musician and a fantastic guitar player.  Thomas was preceded in death by his parents James and Catherine Toma, 2 brothers-in-law James Toma, Jr. and Ervin Booth; his father-in-law Terry Shelley. 

            Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Cathy; his step-daughter Elizabeth (A.J.) Egerton; his brothers David C. Toma and Paul Toma; his sisters Bonnie Toma and Victoria Toma; his nephew David J. Toma; his mother-in-law Lorene Shelley; his brother-in-law Kenneth Shelley; and many special friends he loved dearly.

            Respecting Thomas’s wishes, no services will be held.  We would like to thank family, friends and medical professionals who supported Thomas, along with the Critical Care Unit of Southeast Health Medical Center for the specialized care and compassion provided.  Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
