Theda Fay (Midgette) Savage

Theda Fay Savage, 89, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her residence.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11 A.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Varella officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Born June 11, 1935 in Belhaven, North Carolina, Mrs. Savage was the daughter of the late William J. and Mary Ann Fortescue Midgette.  Mrs. Savage was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ray Savage; her sister, Gelita Dowdy; her niece, Penny Morton and her grandson-in-law, Corey Richards.

Survivors include her sons: John (Ann) Savage, Gary (Vita) Savage, Larry (Elena) Savage; her daughter: Theda (Drew) Houck; 8 grandchildren: Brady (Adrienne) Houck, Brian Houck, Scott (Katharine) Houck, Eris (Randy) Gross, Laura (Chase) Herring, Jessica Richards, James (Victoria) Savage, John Savage; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Nita Gray Warmunde and Sheila Smith.
