Ted Allen Anderson

Ted Allen Anderson, 70, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula.
    Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 4 P.M., at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Doss officiating.  Burial will follow in Rapture City Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. at the church.
    Born July 11, 1954 in Tallassee, Alabama, Ted was the son of the late Dowdle and Elizabeth Morris Anderson.  Affectionately known as Paw Ted, Ted was a loving husband, father and Paw to many special grandchildren.  He spent most of his time loving his family, church and friends.  He was a respected, loved and God-fearing man.  One of his greatest joys in life was teaching his children, grandchildren and church kids the responsibilities of life.  For over 45 years at American Buildings, he made many friends who knew him as “Bear”.  He gained and passed on years of knowledge during his time at work and in life.  He was grateful for the life he was given and he counted himself blessed for the many years he was able to spend with his family.  At the time of his passing, he left behind many broken hearts and memories that will last a lifetime.  Ted enjoyed gardening, raising chickens and taking the “scenic route”.  Another of his greatest enjoyments was coaching his children and watching his grandchildren participate in sports.  Although he marveled at God’s creation here on earth, he was prepared and is now enjoying his heavenly home.  If there was a quote to described Ted, like he always said, “if your gonna do it, do it right”.  We love you Ted, Daddy and Paw, your family.  John 14:6.
    Survivors include his wife of 43 years: Jean Anderson; 4 sons: Donnie (Marsha) Anderson, Josh Anderson, John Curtis (Layne) Anderson, Kale (Jennifer) Anderson; 1 daughter: Mariah (Richard) Rose; 14 grandchildren: Tyler Anderson, Skyler Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Emma Anderson, Edyn Anderson, Dayten Anderson, Kolsen Anderson, Delta Anderson, MaKale “Bea” Anderson, Grayson Anderson, Rhett Anderson, Bianca Mixson, Allen Rose, Creed Rose; 4 great grandchildren: Blakely Anderson, Harper Anderson, Palmer Anderson, Zariah Mixson; 1 brother: Don Anderson; 1 sister: Kathy Sconyers.
    Active pallbearers will be Donnie Anderson, Josh Anderson, Kale Anderson, Kevin Mills, John Curtis Anderson, Richard Rose, James Doss, Tim Doss.
