Samuel Earl Godfrey, III, 80, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Friday, March 8, 2024, at Henry County Health and Rehab in Abbeville, Alabama.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born November 3, 1943 in Eufaula, Alabama, Mr. Godfrey was the son of the late Samuel Earl and Marie Ham Godfrey, II.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Abigail Godfrey and Alice Godfrey; 1 son: Sam Godfrey, IV; 1 grandson: Lewis Godfrey; 2 sisters: Sally (Jerry) Anderson and Eva Godfrey.
