Robert Joseph Salter

Robert Joseph "Little Bobby" Salter, 65, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Thursday, November 27, 2025, at his residence.

            Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 2 P.M., at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

            Born January 23, 1960 in Columbus, Georgia, Bobby was the son of Bobby Joe and Martha Sue Hendricks Salter.  Bobby loved Alabama football with all of his heart.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoor enthusiast.  When he wasn’t outdoors, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  His great nieces and nephews were always a highlight in his day.  If picking at and teasing were a sport, Bobby would have been a “Hall of Famer.”  Bobby was a truck driver for over 40 years before retiring.  Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Heidi Lynn Salter Glover.

            Survivors other than his parents include his sons: Justin Salter, Caleb Salter and Nathan Salter; 2 brothers: Danny Salter and Sammy (Lisa) Salter.
