Raymond Michael Phillips

Raymond Michael Phillips of Dothan & Eufaula, AL passed away Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 at the age of 68.

Known by Mike to all that knew him, he was born in Geneva County on March 9th, 1956 to Raymond and Geraldine McCoy Nichols. He attended Enterprise High School and was in the US Army as a young adult. Mike was an avid fisherman, a die-hard Alabama football fan and a great cook.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene & Geraldine Phillips, his sister Nancy Carol Phillips and his brother Clifton Phillips.

He is survived by his daughter Candice Phillips Ryals (DJ), his sister Cindy Phillips Smith (Troy), his ex-wife with whom he remained close with until his death Rose Blakey-Phillips, a special cousin Sheri McCoy Stinson, four grandchildren, Kailey, Madison, Steeley and Sullet, three step-daughters, Jennifer Pettis, Amy Trapp and Jessica Childress, and many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren who loved him dearly.

No funeral services will be held but friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life to be held on June 1st, 2024, at 2pm. Please contact Rose or Jennifer for additional details.  Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
