Peggy Diane (Thompson) Lucas

Peggy Diane Lucas, 78, of Eclectic, Alabama, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, April 14, 2025.

            Graveside services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1:30 P.M., in Rapture City Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Doss and Ronnie King officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation/service will be held prior to the graveside from 11 A.M. until 12 Noon at Fellowship Baptist Church.

            Born December 6,1946 in Eufaula, Alabama, Peggy was the daughter of the late Gordon and Peasie Thompson.  She went on to marry her husband, the late Milton Lucas, Jr. and together they had 3 children.  Peggy loved the Lord and she loved to cook for her family and sing.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister Patsy Bowden, 2 brothers Charles Thompson and Bobby Thompson and her great granddaughter Ivey Attaway.

            Peggy is survived by her 3 children: Denise (Ronnie) Knight, Trey Lucas and Jason (Tammie) Lucas; 7 grandchildren: Nikki (Brandon), Angel (Lane), Jase (Luke), Gabe (Whitney), Lane (Alex), Raine and Tori; 7 great grandchildren: MiaBella, Liam, Allen, Hayden, Evanna, Leia and Wren.
