Peggy Gilmore Obituary

Peggy Annette Gilmore, 90, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula.

Graveside services were held Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 3 P.M., at Sardis Church Cemetery. Rev. Dylan Patterson officiated with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

Born October 27, 1933 in Barbour County, Alabama, Mrs. Gilmore was the daughter of the late John Raymond and Exie Alice Adams Shirley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Harding Gilmore.

Survivors include her children: Stevie (Vicki) Gilmore, Karen Eubanks, Ginger Gilmore, Johna (Russell) Cotton; 11 grandchildren: Alexis Brown Brazell, Peyton (James) Trawick, Copeland Cotton, Larry (Nicole) Blankenship, Mindi (Dale) Wierzbicki, Carley (Jeff) Wilbourne, Haley (Todd) Clements, Stevy (Max) Beasley, Lindsey (Chris) Beam, Anna (Cody) Parmer, Laney (Jason) Hartzog; 28 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren.
