Paul Redman Hawks, 55, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Friday, December 12, 2025, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 11 A.M., at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Gerry Little and Rev. Deb Tregaskis officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the church.
Born July 7, 1970 in Rochester, New York, Mr. Hawks was the son of Rev. Dr. Richard Dean and Anne Redman Hawks. Paul was a graduate of Appomattox High School in Appomattox, Virginia. He attended Hampton Sydney College and was a graduate of the University of Georgia and Memphis State University with a Master’s Degree in accounting. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant. Paul was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Survivors other than his parents include his brothers: Tom Hawks and Timothy (Heather) Hawks; his nephews: Matthew Hawks and Richard Hawks; his aunt: Marilyn Carr (Larry) and his nieces: Paula and Shelly.
The family appreciates the care given to Paul by the Barbour County EMT’s, the Medical Center Barbour Emergency Room and the Southeast Health Medical Center Emergency Room. We are also grateful to the care given to Paul by the Southeast Health Medical Center Neurological CCU unit, the nurses on the 5th floor and Hospice.
