Olive Patricia (Tanner) Nazworth

Olive Patricia Nazworth, 98, of Georgetown, Georgia, died Saturday, February 17, 2024, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 2 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Gerald Caryl-Gordon officiated and burial followed in the Georgetown Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

Born August 11, 1925 in Douglas, Georgia, Mrs. Nazworth was the daughter of the late Elie and Clyde Griffin Tanner.  She enjoyed the ocean and collecting seashells, painting, puzzles and word games.  She lived in a world of books.

Survivors include her husband: George "Buck" Nazworth; 2 daughters: Gay Walters and Julia West; 4 step-daughters: Sharon (A.J.) Vaughn, Janet Shaw, Lynn (Marvin) Brantley, Geri Hodges; many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were George Walters, Chrsi Nazworth, Cory Lang, Mark Harris, Glen Creamer, Greg Lewis.
