Nancy Ann Corcoran, 89, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, June 28, 2026, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11 A.M. CDT, at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. CDT until 11 A.M. CDT, at the church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Lakeside School or Gentiva Hospice.
Born April 26, 1937, Mrs. Corcoran was the daughter of the late Bennie Frank and Bonnie Ruth Benton Bowden, Sr. Mrs. Corcoran enjoyed traveling, gardening and being surrounded by her family. Music was very important to her. She enjoyed singing at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church where she was active for many years. Through the years, she served on several boards and helped establish many organizations. She was a part of the founding of Lakeside School. She served as President of the ALFA Women’s Committee and helped with the establishment of the Cowikee Water Board. Mrs. Corcoran was preceded in death by her husband W. L. “Sonny” Corcoran.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Susan (Dave) Haney and Cindy (Tim) Clark; 2 sons: Walt (Dwain) Corcoran and Tom (Denise) Corcoran; 11 grandchildren: Nancy (Neil) Haney, Andrew (Allison) Haney, John (Amanda) Haney, Kate (Patrick) Dollar, Liston (Crystal) Clark, Corie (Clay) Segrest, Sunnie Corcoran, Allie (David) Logan, Cassie (Cody) Young, Joe (Shelby) Corcoran, Liston Corcoran; 17 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Liston Clark, Andrew Haney, John Haney, Joe Corcoran, Liston Corcoran and Dwain Middlebrooks.
