Myrtice Virginia (Carden) Etheridge

Myrtice Virginia Etheridge, 88, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at her home.

            Funeral services were held Friday, January 19, 2024, at 3 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Glen Brock officiated and burial followed in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.

            Born September 30, 1935, Mrs. Etheridge was the daughter of the late Alexander Stephen and Mildred Gertrude Jackson Carden.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lee Etheridge, Jr.

            Survivors include 1 son: Steve (Ann) Etheridge; 2 daughters: Jenne Etheridge and Merry (Cecil) Trammell; 3 grandchildren: Jackson Etheridge, Chace (Lauren) Etheridge, Logan Etheridge; 1 great grand-child: Arden Coy Etheridge.

            Pallbearers were Chace Etheridge, Logan Etheridge, Jackson Etheridge, Maddox Givens, Stephen Boutwell, Scott Boutwell, Cecil Trammell, John Everette Pate and Buddy Marshall.
