Mildred Estelle (Barfield) Norris

                Mildred Estelle Norris, 68, of Leesburg, Georgia, formerly of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Leesburg.

            Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10 A.M., CDT, at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Doss officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M., CDT, at Chapman Funeral Home.

            Born July 21, 1957 in Marion County, Georgia, Mrs. Norris was the daughter of the late Hozie Lee and Annie Bell Groover Barfield.  Millie enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, slot machines and spending time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Buckley Thomas Norris, her brothers, Allen Barfield, Lee Barfield, John Barfield and her sisters, Carol Hurst, Annie Shomper and Mary Barfield.

            Survivors include her daughter: Windy (Colin) McAllister; 2 sisters: Inez Etheridge and Illa Bee Brown; 2 grand-children: Anthony Dean and Cheyenne Dean.

            Active pallbearers will be Bobby Shomper, James Varner, Josh Souza Sr., Josh Souza Jr., J. C. Cadle and Ben Cadle.
