Lunell Spearman Graham

Lunell “Nell” Spearman Graham, 95, of Albertville, AL (formerly of
Eufaula AL), passed away on May 6, 2024 at Marshall Medical Center
North.
She was born on December 26,1928 to the late Audye and Estelle
Spearman, in Halltown, AL. After graduating from Red Bay High School,
Nell earned an education degree from Florence State Teachers College
(University of North Alabama) that led to her teaching for over 30 years.
She taught in several places, and various subjects and grades.
She was married for 63 years to William (Bill) E. Graham. Together, they
enjoyed family time with their four children and grandchildren, always
being ready to travel and try new experiences.
Volunteering and serving others were core values for Nell. She was a
member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary where she served as president,
assisted students as a literacy pal, participated in various roles at AARP
and RSVP sponsored programs, and served in numerous capacities at
the church. She was rewarded for these efforts when she was named
Eufaula Volunteer of the Year and Eufaula Woman of the Year.
Nell will be greatly missed by her daughters Tina (Tom) Conner and
Emily Andrews, and her grandchildren, Honey Skivolocke, Tommy
Graham, William (Abigail) Conner, and Chris Conner, great grandson
Brixton Skivolocke and several nieces, nephews and extended family. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her
sons Bruce Graham and Stephen Graham, and brothers, J.W.
Spearman and Dwight Spearman.
Visitation will be held on May 14 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Chapman Funeral
Home, Eufaula, AL. The funeral service will be on May 15 at 10:00 AM at
First Baptist Church, Eufaula, AL with Dr. Ken Bush officiating. Burial will
follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL.
