Kevin Rodham Gainer

It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Rodham Gainer announces his sudden passing on 22 May 2026 at the age of 67, in Eufaula, Alabama.  Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Thomas and Evelyn Gainer, his sister Cindy and her husband Jean, as well as his nephews Eric (Valery), Marc (Melissa) and Stefan (Erin) and his two great nieces Evelyn and Indie.  As well as his extended family and many friends.

Kevin was born on 11 December 1958 in Greenville,  North Carolina  and moved many times as a child with his military family.  He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Business  Management.   He worked for sixteen years at Aramark as an experienced account manager in the culinary food services in Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, among other cities.  He later decided to change career paths and purchased a small poultry farm in Milford, Delaware.  After several successful years in the business,  he wanted to expand; thus, in 2006, he purchased a larger poultry farm in Eufaula, Alabama,  with eight poultry houses, where he continued his success as an award-winning grower.

Outside of farming, Kevin's main passion was cooking.  He loved showcasing his culinary skills, often preparing  extravagant holiday feasts for family and friends.  He was also an animal lover, fostering many dogs and cats on his farm.

A Celebration of Kevin's life will be held in Panama City on June 26, 2026 at 2:00pm at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Gone too soon.  May he rest in peace.
