Katie Applin Obituary

Katie Mable Applin, 84, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Saturday, April 13, 2024, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 12 Noon, at First Baptist Church. Dr. Ken Bush officiated and burial followed in Fairview Cemetery Addition with Chapman Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.

Born May 29, 1939 in Smiths Station, Alabama, Mrs. Applin was the daughter of the late Dallas L. and Woodie E. Hunter McLemore.

Survivors include her husband: Ray Applin; 1 son: Doug Applin; 2 daughters: Cheryl Cartwright and Debbie (Allen) Casey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Logan Applin, Casey Applin, Travis Lee, Bryan Freeman, Dan Farmer, David Johnston.
