Juleen Gilmore, 86, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Monday, September 8, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2 P.M., at Sardis Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Gilmore and Rev. Joey McCreight officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born August 17, 1939 in Barbour County, Alabama, Mrs. Gilmore was the daughter of the late Robert Dorus and Mary B. Baxley Creel. Juleen loved yard work, beautiful flowers and interior decorating. She was a loving wife to her husband Bryan for 68 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and she is loved by her family and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chase Perdue and her brothers, Robert Creel and Hansel Creel.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years: Bryan Gilmore; her children: Patti (Coy) Perdue, Tracy (Jim) Gissendaner, Jennings (Frankie) Gilmore; 6 grandchildren: Brandon (Sarah) Perdue, Ethan Gissendaner, Ivan Gissendaner, Will (Dezarae) Gilmore, Andrew Gilmore (Sydney Bentley), Jessica (Joseph) Buchanan; 12 great grandchildren: Weston Perdue, Bryant Perdue, Nella Grace Perdue, Ellie Juleen Perdue, Kizzie Perdue, Glory Mae Perdue, Selah Jaymes Mavis Perdue, Hayden Buchanan, Reese Buchanan, Ceely Grace Buchanan, Willie Gilmore, Wayne Edwards; 1 sister: Angelyn (Ray) Clark; 1 brother: Keith Creel.
Pallbearers will be William Gilmore, Ivan Gissendaner, Brandon Perdue, Bryant Perdue, Cody Perdue, Russell Cotton, Keith Creel and Ty Gilmore. Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Marshall.
