John Coleman Morris

John Coleman Morris, 84, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his residence.

            Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2 P.M., at Adams Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Stokes officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

            Born July 29, 1940 in Eufaula, Alabama, Mr. Morris was the son of the late Woodrow Coleman and Sarah Lucille Railey Morris.  John loved animals, especially horses, music and playing guitar.  He owned and operated Peak Printing for several years and owned and operated Roller Die and Forming.  He was preceded in death by his son Scotty Morris and his grandson Kevin Suggs.

            Survivors include 2 daughters: Teresa Morris McDonald (Chris Brockman) and Donna (Bill) Starling; 2 step-sons: Joe Tidwell and Lee Tidwell; his former wife and best friend: Jolene Morris; 6 grandchildren: Taylor Morris, Starla (Mark) Dushane, Brittany (Shawn) Bynum, Scotty Starling, Joey Starling, Steven (Jamie) Starling; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Eddie (Susan) Morris and Lamar (Theresa) Morris.
