John Homer "Johnny" Etheridge, 84, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10 A.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Doss and Dr. Kermit Soileau officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M., Friday evening at the funeral home.
Born May 27, 1940 in Eufaula, Alabama, Johnny was the son of the late Coy Lee and Laura Beatrice Jones Etheridge, Sr. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife Alice Roberts Etheridge, his brother Coy Lee Etheridge, Jr. and his sister Betty Etheridge Page.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Angie (Drexel) Copeland and Dana Pruehs (Danny Champion); 4 grandchildren: Brandon Pate, John Everette (Dana) Pate, Macye Pate, Joshua Pruehs; 6 great grandchildren: J.T. Pate, Allie Pate, Trey Edmonds, Lena Edmonds, Easton Edmonds, Angela Pate; friends: Elizabeth Ellis and Family.
Active pallbearers will be Tommy Day, Tony Roberts, Jackson Etheridge, Jake Norman, Gordon McInnis, Chace Etheridge, Logan Etheridge and Richard Baggett.
