Jim Frank Bush, Sr.

Jim Frank Bush, Sr., 78, of Eufaula Alabama, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his residence.

            Visitation for Mr. Bush will be held from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M., Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Glaucoma Foundation, Tunnel for Towers Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.  A private graveside service will be held later with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

            Born November 16, 1946, in Eufaula, Alabama, Jim Frank was the son of the late Frank Allen and Lucille Thompson Bush.  Jim Frank was a self-employed farmer and was a dedicated forester.  He was recognized as a Treasure Forester.  He served as a Barbour County Commissioner for 6 years and served on the State Board of County Commissioners.  He served in the Alabama Army National Guard.

            Survivors include his wife of 31 years: Nancie Bush; his sons: Jim Bush, Seth (Tammy) Bush, Jason (Anita) Law, William Bush; 6 grandchildren: Molly Bush, Morgan Bush, Kylie Bush, Kaycie Bush, Austin Law and Lucas Law.

            Pallbearers will be Jim Bush, Seth Bush, Jason Law, William Bush, Morgan Bush and Kaycie Bush.
