Janice Ann (Nicholson) Drinkard

Janice Ann Drinkard, 79, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11 A.M., at Christian Life Church with Rev. Don Dillard and Jim Horner officiating.  Burial will follow at 3 P.M., at Victoria Baptist Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M., at the church.

Born March 2, 1947, in Coffee County, Alabama, Janice was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ollie B. Mauldin Nicholson.  Janice, along with her husband George, owned and operated the Dixie Dandy in Eufaula.  They then opened and operated Drinkard's Meat Market while raising four daughters.  She was employed with Louisiana Pacific and the Eufaula Primary School from which she retired.  Janice was a very active member in all aspects of Christian Life Church.  She loved people, cooking and Jesus.  She will be missed dearly by everyone whose life she touched.  She was preceded in death by her husband George Alexander Drinkard, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters: Angie (Alan) Wilson, Audra (David) Hines, Amy Johnson and Antha (William) Cody; 10 grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Smith, Cole Bickley, Tanner (Taylor) Bickley, Stan Wilson, Haley (Thomas) Espy, Garrett Hines, George Ann (Ben) Shook, Carly (Michael) Cutchens, Dannon Whitehead, Alex Bush; 11 great grandchildren: Kiddmon Bickley, Hillie Grace Bickley, Blayne Williams, Clayton Whitehead, Mathis Hall, Micah Hall, Brett Bickley, Sam Antha Hall, Logan (Heather) Cody, Blake Cody, Gayln Cody.

Pallbearers will be Logan Cody, Dannon Whitehead, Cole Bickley, Michael Cutchens, Alex Bush, Tanner Bickley, Garrett Hines and Thomas Espy.
