James Moody Obituary

James Michael Moody, 83, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Friday, April 5, 2024, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 8, 2024, at 1 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John T. Pippins officiated and burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

Born January 7, 1941 in Eufaula, Alabama, Mr. Moody was the son of the late James Walter and Mary Beatrice Green Moody.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Mary Moody; 2 sons: Mike (Diane) Moody and Bill (Millie) Moody; 1 daughter: Ellen (Jimmy) Cantley; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donnie Cox, Trip Cox, Mikey Conner, Hunter Suggs, Devon Throesch, Jimmy Baxter.
