James Erskine “Jim” Ingram, 83, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 2 P.M., at SouthPoint Church with Rev. Jimmy Symons and Rev. Chris Toole officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Church Cemetery with Military Honors with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the church.
Born March 16, 1942 in Nauvoo, Alabama, Mr. Ingram was the son of the late Luther Gaston and Shirley Mae Lawson Ingram. Jim was a proud veteran of the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class after more than 20 years of service. He was well known and loved in the community and he loved his family. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Hamilton Ingram and his daughter, Tammy Ingram.
Survivors include his children: Pam Ingram, Kim (Barry) Brown, Jamie Ingram, Jimmy (April) Ingram, Timmy (Renee) Ingram; 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Preston (Patti) Ingram.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Ingram, Dakota Ingram, Jerad Ingram, Zach Brown, Justin Brown, Linc Anderson, Will Ingram, Landon Swain, Greyland Swain, Kyland Swain, Billy Benefield III.
