Homer John Freed, 84, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at hid residence in Eufaula, Alabama.

Born May 14, 1940 in Alliance, Ohio, Homer was the son of the late Elmer Leroy and Marie Riley Freed. He was preceded in death by his son John Homer Freed, his brother Paul Freed, and sister Twyla Hawk. He was a jack of all trades.

Survivors include his wife Julie Freed of Eufaula, Alabama; his sons James (Lydia) Freed and Rick Freed; his daughter Vonda Freed; his sisters Lou Lefever and Wanda Schell; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
