Glenda Marie Emerson, 88. of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

Born April 1, 1936 in Longview, Texas, Mrs. Emerson was the daughter of the late Glen Harlen and Jewel Marie Watkins Matlock, Sr.

Survivors include her husband: Paul Emerson; 2 son: Mark Emerson and Matt (Lisa) Emerson; 1 daughter: Ann Cannon; 4 grandchildren: Gabbi Emerson, Chase Emerson, Jake Emerson, Josh Emerson; 2 great grandchildren: Mims H. "Bud" Conner, IV and Addison Richardson; 1 great great granddaughter: Violet Mae Conner; 1 brother: Glen (Renee) Matlock, Jr.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
