Geraldine (Beech) Taylor

Mrs. Geraldine Beech Taylor, 80, of Eufaula, Alabama, formerly of Monroeville, Alabama, died Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula.

                Graveside services will be held, Monday, August 18, 2025, at 2 P.M., in Johnson Memorial Gardens in Monroeville with Rev. Tony Willis officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pilots for Christ, P.O. Box 707, Monroeville, Alabama 36461.

                Born January 15, 1945 in Monroeville, Alabama, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Mabel Odom Beech.  Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Monroeville.  She enjoyed quilting, needle-work, reading and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Taylor and 2 sisters, Faye Nettles and Sheila Pilsbury.

                Survivors include her children: Randall DeFee, Lee (Amy) DeFee, Brenda Regan, Sherry Taylor, Lisa (Tim) Mixon; 9 grandchildren: Bryson Crutchfield, Taylor (Michelle) Crutchfield, Sara (Steven) Bradley, Logan (Brittany) DeFee, Lindsey DeFee (Kyle Huston), Frank Stanton, Tyler Regan, Grace DeFee, Hunter DeFee; 4 great grandchildren: Anna Kay Bradley, Hudson DeFee, Holden DeFee, Willow Huston; 1 sister: Bonnie Steadham.
