George Alexander Drinkard, Jr., 78, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Friday, February 16, 2024, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 19, 2024, at 11 A.M., at Christian Life Church. Rev. Ken Jackson officiated and burial followed in the Victoria Baptist Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Connections.

Born September 5, 1945 in Coffee County, Alabama, George was the son of the late George Alexander and Lonnie Estelle Boutwell Drinkard, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years: Janice Drinkard; 4 daughters: Angie (Alan) Wilson, Audra (David) Hines, Amy (Ben) Johnson, Antha (William) Cody; 10 grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Smith, Cole Bickley, Tanner (Taylor) Bickley, Stan Wilson, Haley (Thomas) Espy, Garrett Hines, George Ann (Ben) Shook, Carly (Michael) Cutchins, Dannon Whitehead, Alex Bush; 9 great grandchildren: Kiddmon Bickley, Hillie Grace Bickley, Blayne Williams, Mathis Hall, Micah Hall, Sam Antha Hall, Logan Cody, Blake Cody, Gayln Cody; 1 brother: Donald (Ruth) Drinkard; 2 sisters: Annette Willis and Linda (Vic) Wozny.

Pallbearers were Cole Bickley, Tanner Bickley, Logan Cody, Alex Bush, Garrett Hines, Dannon Whitehead.
