Corey Scott Richards

        Memorial services for Corey Scott Richards., age 37 will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 4 P.M. in the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Varella officiating and Chapman Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. The visitation for Mr. Richards will be held from 2-4 P.M prior to the service. Mr. Richards died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Born October 6, 1986, in Birmingham, AL., He was the son of Pamela Elgin Richards and (the late) Dannie  Lee Richards. Corey was an avid hunter and loved camping, cooking, coaching baseball, fishing, and loved traveling to Major League Baseball Games.

Survivors: his wife: Jessica Richards; children: Lily Richards, Jonathan Richards, and Caroline Richards; Brothers: Chuck (Emily) Richards, Daniel (Mandy) Richards, and Andrew (Jenna) Richards; nieces and nephews: Ellie Richards, Dean Richards, Eden Richards, Nolan Richards, Avery Richards, Abbie Richards, Olivia Gary, Noah Gray, and Paisley Gray.

            In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Brain Injury Association of America.
