Carolyn Morton, 87, of Georgetown, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 1 P.M., CDT, at the Georgetown Baptist Church with Dr. Kermit Soileau officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 Noon, CDT until 1 P.M., CDT, at the church.
Born October 11, 1938, in Eastman, Georgia, Carolyn was the daughter of the late William Charles and Annie Owens Belflower. She was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Morton, her sons Phillip Chrystler and Mark Chrystler, her granddaughter Josie Chrystler, her brothers Kenneth Belflower and Carl Belflower and her sister Glenda Bush.
Survivors include 2 grandchildren: Zach Chrystler and Jordan (Casey) McDonald; 2 great grandchildren: Allison McDonald and Montana McDonald; 1 brother: Ivey Belflower; 1 sister: Ann Bartlett; 1 daughter-in-law: Tresia Chrystler.
Active pallbearers will be Trevor Hayes, Stanley Hayes, Tim Belflower, John Bartlett, Dewayne Cook, Nick Givens, Justin Frost, Derek Allen.
