Brenda Gail Holmes

Brenda Gail Holmes, 74, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Monday, May 20, 2024, at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula.

            Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 2 P.M., at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hines officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Children’s Miracle Network or the Wounded Warriors Project.

            Born June 10, 1949 in Ohio, Mrs. Holmes was the daughter of the late James Warren and Evelyn Bernice Sheffield Radney, Sr.  Mrs. Holmes was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Cross Baptist Church.  She loved sewing and crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was employed at Lakeview Community Hospital as a switchboard operator.

            Survivors include 3 sons: Chris (Jade) Holmes, Greg (Kim) Holmes and Ashley Holmes; 6 grandchildren: Haley Holmes, Leighann Holmes, Holly Holmes, Morgan Parmer, Jesse Holmes and Madeline Holmes; 8 great grandchildren: Macee Sheppard, Josh Sheppard, Gage Sheppard, Oaklynn Hayward, Braxton Wilbourne, Chloe Wilbourne, Tate Parmer and Bodhi Hayward; 1 sister: Pam Veasey; 3 brothers: James Radney, Jr., Jamie (Brenda) Veasey and Tony Veasey.
