Brenda Ann Colburn, 79, of Eufaula, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 24, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and under the compassionate care of Gentiva Hospice.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 1 P.M., in Pineland Memorial Park in Centreville, Alabama. The eulogy will be given by Paul Colburn with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. in the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel.
Born August 18, 1946, in Centreville, Alabama, Mrs. Colburn was the daughter of the late Victor Arlo and Hattie Mae Elam Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Eddie Colburn; her grandson Travis Weaver; her great granddaughter Isabella Weaver; her brothers Paul Cook, Ed Cook, Roger Cook, and Glen Cook; her sister Barbara Steele.
Survivors include 1 son: Paul (Karyn) Colburn; 2 daughters: Vonne Weaver and Ann Colburn; 4 grandchildren: Haley Colburn, Emily Colburn, Trista (Chrystal) Weaver, Brad (Dana) Weaver; 2 great grandchildren: Penelope Michelle Weaver and Aidan Weaver; brothers Neil ( Eloise) Cook and Alton (Debra) Cook; sister Vickie (Buck) Pugh; sister in law Peggy Cook.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Gentiva Hospice Staff.
