Bobby Gene Shore

Bobby Gene Shore, 80, of Georgetown, Georgia, died Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 1 P.M., CDT, at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel.  Chaplain Jeff Carter will officiate and burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held Monday evening from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M., at the funeral home.

Born September 13, 1943 in North Charleston, North Carolina, Mr. Shore was the son of the late John Henry and Evelyn Foster Shore.  Mr. Shore was employed with Winn Dixie for over 11 years as Produce Manager.  He held the same position with Piggly Wiggly for over 13 years.  He was a resident of Georgetown, Georgia for many years.

Survivors include his wife: Minnie Shore; 2 daughters: Bobbie Jo Tollar and Katrina Lynn (Greg) Etris; 4 grandchildren: Emily (Nick) Deal, Meagan (Billy) Shirah, Allyson (Jarrod) Rosenstock and Andrew (Rachel) Etris; 3 great grandchildren: Coraline Rosenstock, James Etris and Ava Kate Shirah.

Pallbearers will be Billy Shirah, Nick Deal, Greg Etris, Jeremy Forehand, Jeff Etris and Charles Warren.
