Bobby Barnett Scott, lovingly known to many as “B.B. Scott,” passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family at home. Born on December 21, 1941, B.B. spent his life in and around Eufaula, where he became known as a hardworking man, a trusted friend, and someone always willing to lend a helping hand.
B.B. was born to the late Marion Scott and Frances Juanita Medley Scott and carried throughout his life the values of kindness, honesty, and dedication. Whether repairing something for someone in need or spending peaceful hours fishing, B.B. found joy in life’s simple moments and in helping others whenever he could.
A devoted member of Family of God Church in Eufaula, Alabama, B.B. lived his faith through quiet acts of service, compassion, and love for those around him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Gwen Scott, whom he faithfully loved throughout their life together; his children, Angela Huetson, Troy Scott (Patricia), and Bobby B. Scott II (Heather); his grandchildren, Michael Millikan (Melissa), Kristen Clay (Justin), Amanda Huetson, Casey Millikan (Emily), Matthew Gunnar Huetson (Theresa), Nicole Oglesby (Matthew), Kennon Golden, Catherine Scott, and Abigail Barrick (Cody); his great-grandchildren, Dillan Flores, Caiden Emmitt, Colby Brady, Elijah Clay, Cannon Millikan, Lillian Millikan, Nolan Millikan, Lyla Millikan, Colt Millikan, Amelia Millikan, Garrett Millikan, Noah Oglesby, Allison Millikan, Summer Oglesby, Jade Huetson, and Jaxson Huetson; and his great-great-grandchild, Kazama Naggi.
