Billy Karnel Shirah, Sr.

            Billy Karnel Shirah, Sr., 80, of Georgetown, Georgia, died Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his daughters residence in Dothan, Alabama.

            Funeral services were held Monday, January 8, 2024, at 11 A.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Richard Baggett and Keisha Dolan officiated and burial followed in Parkhill Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home officiating.

            Born November 26, 1943 in Ellaville, Georgia, Mr. Shirah was the son of the late Carnal Brown and Margaret Brand Hudgens Shirah.

            Survivors include 1 daughter: Carmine (Steve) Sellers; 2 sons: Billy K. Shirah, Jr. (Stefanie Powers) Shirah, Jr., Jimmy Shirah; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Rickie Shirah, Sr.; 1 sister: Gloria Jean (Don) Edwards.

            Pallbearers were Billy Shirah III, Nicholas Deal, Jeremy Forehand, Steve Sellers, Jimmy Shirah and Billy K. Shirah, Jr.
