Betty Stinson Davis, 94, of Pittsview, Alabama, died Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Parkwood Health Care in Phenix City, Alabama.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11 A. M., in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Chris Wilkinson officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. until service time at the cemetery.
Born September 20, 1931 in Rome, Georgia, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Robert Donald and Inez Holcomb Weeks. Betty enjoyed gardening, painting oil paintings, ballroom dancing and baking. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where her Sunday School class was very dear to her heart. Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne L. Stinson and Robert Davis; her infant daughter, Vickey Stinson; her brothers, Robert Weeks and Richard Weeks and her sister, Eleanor Slaughter.
She leaves behind to treasure her memory, her beloved family, her children: Lisa Stinson, Phillip Stinson, Sr., James (Shelia) Stinson; her step-daughter: Sylvia (Steven) Clyborne; her grandchildren: Mary Beth Heatherly, Emily Proctor, Robbie Stinson, Jenny Brooks, Ryan Stinson, Phillip Stinson Jr., Alex Atkins, Lilly Sheppard; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
