Betty Sue (Waldrop) Speights

Mrs. Betty Sue Speights, 90, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Wilkinson officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born April 10, 1934 in Inglenook, Alabama, Mrs. Speights was the daughter of the late Vance Oscar and Azline Cornelia Harmon Waldrop.  Mrs. Speights was an active member of the First Baptist Church.  She owned and operated the Airport Restaurant for over 22 years with her husband.
Survivors include her husband: Bennie Speights; 1 son: Greg (Jan) Speights; 4 grandchildren: Derek Speights, Ryan Speights, Rachel Speights, Christopher (Rachel) Speights; 2 great grandchildren: Chloe Speights and Charlotte Speights; many nieces and nephews.
