Betty Sue (Woodham) Searcy

Betty Sue Searcy, 88, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Noland Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 12 Noon, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Avera officiating.  Burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery Addition with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service Saturday from 11 A.M. until service time at the church.

Born January 4, 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Searcy was the daughter of the late Jesse Burl and Edna Louise Butler Woodham.  Mrs. Searcy was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She was an avid Alabama Football fan and an Atlanta Braves fan.  She loved cooking and reading.  She also had a general contractors license.  She was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years.  She loved spending time with her family.  Mrs. Searcy was preceded in death by her husband, Naron Damar Searcy.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Sheila Anne Searcy and Shelley Rene Searcy; 1 brother: John (Linda) Woodham.

Avtive and honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Davidson, Keith Richardt, Meylan Searcy, Sam Searcy, John Woodham and Kris Davidson.
