Bea (Ezell) Colson

Bea Colson, 91, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Monday, April 13, 2026, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with the eulogy being given by Paul Colson.  A private burial will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery at a later date with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born October 14, 1934 in Dale County, Alabama, Mrs. Colson was the daughter of the late H. J. and Annie Melissa Langford Ezell.  Mrs. Colson was a member of Christian Life Church and was a former member of Parkview Baptist Church.  She loved and was loved by her adoptive home town, Eufaula, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Colson.

Survivors include her children: Sam (Kelly) Colson, Paul Colson and Melissa (Eric) Moffett; 4 grandchildren: Anna Colson, Emma Colson (Andrew) Ray, Grace Moffett and Braden Moffett.
