Alma White Obituary
Alma Adell “Dale” White, 93, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, May 18, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 3 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Hudspeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Gentiva Hospice.
Born March 9, 1932 in Waverly, Alabama, Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Almon Daniel and Velma Arline Hammock Musick. She was a member of the Friendship Presbyterian Church for 65 years. She was one of the first employees at Mann’s Bait Company, where she worked for 20 years. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Medical Center Barbour for 15 years. She loved cooking, gardening, quilting, cross stitch and coloring. She enjoyed all of the grand-children’s activities, dance recitals, softball etc.. The family would like to give a special thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at Gentiva Hospice and a special lady, Veronica Horne. She was preceded in death by her husband: W. L. “Pete” White, 2 brothers: Horise Musick, Marion Musick; 3 sisters: Shirley Taunton, Ruth Cantey and Linda Huey.
Survivors include 3 sons: Earl (Joy) White, Mike (Donna) White and Joey White; 4 grandchildren: Myndi (Les) Swain, Erin (Michael) Faircloth, Kaleb (Nicole) White and Skyler White; 11 great grandchildren: Taylor Swain, Tripp Swain, Abby Metcalf, Makayla Faircloth, Hayden Faircloth, Brady White, Jayde White, Lundon White, Riggins White, Kolton White and Jaxson White.
Pallbearers will be Les Swain, Tripp Swain, Michael Faircloth, Kaleb White, Kenny Childree, Jimmy Day and Skylar White.
