Alex Merrill McCall

Alex Merrill McCall, 93, of Ft. Gaines, Georgia, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Ft. Gaines Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 1 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Sowell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery near Clio, Alabama with Chapman Funeral Home directing.  The visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 Noon until 1 P.M.

Born November 5, 1931 in Clio, Alabama, Mr. McCall was the son of the late Charlie S. and M. Essie McCall.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Elizabeth Cole McCall.  

Survivors include his step-daughter: June Swain; his step-son: Jerry Nolin; 1 step-granddaughter: Jennifer Morris; 1 step-great granddaughter: Jenna Morris.
