Alena Ruth Bertelsen, 48, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Born May 4, 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia, Alena was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Marie Hutto Carter. She is survived by her husband: Jeff Bertelsen; her children: Dylan (Kayla) Harvell, Ava Bertelsen, Jeffrey Bertelsen Jr., Krystal Bertelsen; 4 grand children: Jace-Ann Harvell, Daniel Harvell, Maliki Harvell, Noah Harvell.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date with Chapman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
